About me

Born and educated in Germany, I came to Ireland in 2000 and immediately succumbed to its charms. So much so that I decided to make it my future home there and then. Inish Translations is the product of the life I lead in picturesque Donegal. My background is varied – I trained and worked as a dental nurse but languages are my true calling. After studying English and German literature, languages and politics at the University of Hamburg, I taught German to young asylum seekers for several years, working in areas that further fuelled my interest in travel and cultural exchange. As a freelance translator, I have the freedom to choose work closely aligned with my own philosophies and beliefs, taking projects I feel passionate about.

Money matters

Every translation is different. Individually crafted to suit your requirements. Which is why making a quote before seeing the work involved is totally out of the question.

Get in touch and let’s discuss what your project entails. Send me the documents and once I have reviewed them, I will be able to give you a firm offer.
